[Sca-cooks] Vegetables and are you all still there?

I'm still lurking!

My favorite period veggie dish is probably cariota - roasted carrots
(and parsnips, too, I'd imagine, although I haven't tried them in
this) tossed with vinegar and fresh herbs. I've even done it in the
crockpot!

There was also a really good carrot, parsnip and turnip "hash" roasted
in the oven for Renaud's last feast in Roaring Wastes. Seasoned with
garlic, salt, and pepper, and roasted in a convection oven. That was
yummy too!
