[Sca-cooks] Vegetables and are you all still there?

If you do find the reference can you forward it to me please.

I am working on a paper on the vegetable "recipes" in the first five
books of De Honesta and I have not come across that one.
It may be a comment or an additional recipe added into the second
half of the book. If that is the case it would be a good reference,
but not something I would be concerned about for this paper.

Oh wait I think I found it.

It is in BK VII entry 41 (second half of the book) "When rape is
washed well and cut in pieces, cook down the best way, in some rich
broth. When they are cooked and mashed, put them near the fire again
with better broth than before if it can be done, and with a piece of
pork , pepper and saffron. When it comes to a boil take it off and
serve to your guests."
