Rumpolt's German isn't very difficult, much easier than Welserin who wasn't all that long before him.   Spelling is a little odd, sometimes you need to sound out a word, but most of can be looked up in a modern German dictionary, and I have a large glossary posted there too.

As you go through it, if you notice any problems or even have comments, I'd really appreciate if you told me.   And as the page says, I set up a Yahoo group for the translation, that's a good place to comment.

If you recognize any of those unchanged recipes, that would be interesting too.
