[Sca-cooks] OOP canning adventures

I was thinking the same thing - OTOH, I was just looking up oven canning on
Google as my family's preferred method. We're not dead yet...and that is
evidently a surprising thing. No exploded jars, no deaths from botulism,
nothing from those dire warnings.
