For someone whose diabetes prohibits normal sugar-toast (with cinnamon  
or other spices, or without), try Splenda substituting the for sugar,  
and low-carb bread for the regular bread. Or just trust my word on the  
fact that cardamom-sugar bread is at least as nice as cinnamon-sugar  
bread.
