ah, how i envy you.  i had planned such a wondrous meal, 
and both of us came down with nasty colds bordering on 
bronchitis, so antibiotics were the dish of the day.

i took my lovely rib roast, and put it on a bed of tiny 
onions, carrots, celery, mushrooms, garlic and potatoes 
with a bit of beef broth and sherry, and made some 
stuffing (cuz he loves it so) with beef broth, mushies and 
currants, and called it a day, and had a lovely if simple 
meal.

and ate it watching my present of "julie and julia".

not seeing much adventurous culinary stuff this vacation. 
  oh... chicken noodle soup..........
