And bread - people will eat as much bread as you put in front of them
regardless of whatever else is coming along (except for the gluten free
people!!). Even if you try to limit the bread they'll ask for more.

Which is why I usually plan for 4 oz. of bread per person in at least
two
courses and normally make an extra half dozen loaves of each type of
bread
for a reserve. The nice thing about bread is left over loaves are
easy to
give away.
Bear

And that latter is not necessarily a good example. That's *good*
bread. That's "Bear" bread. Not just ordinary bread.
