[Sca-cooks] nutmeg poisoning

There was a run on nutmeg in the late 16th and 17th centuries.
The book to read is
Nathaniel's Nutmeg: Or the True and Incredible Adventures of the Spice
Trader Who Changed the Course of History.
I reviewed it and I think the review is in the Florilegium.
I know it's been mentioned on the list before.
