[Sca-cooks] Georgia on my mind ...

There are some country cooking places in the Los Angeles area but you
need to know where to look. My honourable ex, Baron Jared Blaydeaux,
will probably chime in with some suggestions. In the meantime, I
discovered a New Orleans place, "The Sisters," a tiny hole-in-the-wall
in the San Fernando Valley that warrants a field trip Very Soon.

In the meantime, Smithfield hams can be obtained at the Chinese grocery
chain, 99 Ranch Markets. Yeah, that sounds extra strange, but
apparently there's very little material difference between Virginia and
Yunnan ham. Funny how parallel evolution happens.

I've just come into a Coleman Deep Fryer, thanks to my camp mom, and we
may do a fish fry at Potrero War. Stay in touch.

Cheers,
Selene Colfox, Caid
