If no one does, you could try sending the picture to Yankee Magazine.   
They
have, or used to have, (don't recall seeing it in the last issue I  
read) a
column devoted to identifying the odd objects that readers sent in  
pictures
of.

As does Cook's Illustrated. Of course they only put in one answer per  
issue. But it is possible that they will let you know even if they  
don't publish something.

There have been some recent, good suggestions.
