The Throwdown featuring Bobby Flay vs. Buckhorn Tavern for 
Green Chili Cheeseburgers has lasting repurcussions!  Of 
course, the NM restaurant won!

The NM State Fair starts this week, and Gov. Richardson 
has issued a Green Chili Cheeseburger throwdown among 14 
(or so) NM restaurants for bragging rights to the best 
GCCB in the state.  One of the contestants is the Monte 
Carlo restaurant, which was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins 
and Dives.  The contestants range from fancy restaurant to 
burger joint.

It should be interesting to see who wins.  I am assuming 
NOT the chef who "New Yorks" it up.  They are a simple 
tradition around here.
