Why am I reminded of the scene in Julie and Julia where Julie
attempts to make the aspic from scratch?
I'm afraid I'd just start with something like 1# Grayslake Gelatin.
Unflavored.

The book Lost Desserts Delicious Indulgences of the Past Recipes from
Legendary and Famous Chefs has some very pretty jellies in it.

If you run out of recipes, this is an easy topic to explore via google
books.
There are 400 plus full text books with jellies recipes in them. Most
date frm the 19th century.
