[Sca-cooks] bread, again

Ah, a bread machine recipe.  I have developed a theory that bread 
machine recipes often call for butter or some other fat, that 
wouldn't appear in a non-machine recipe--- for purposes of making the 
dough less "sticky"? in the bucket???  and thereby straining the 
paddle motor?  Anybody know if my thinking on this is on-track, or 
wonky?
