[Sca-cooks] Pickled Egg Questions

Regarding concerns about pickled eggs my 1967 Joy of Cooking has a recipe on 
page 203.  It does not mention the strength of vinegar but it does say that 
after you cover the eggs with boiling vinegar they should be refrigerated in 
the vinegar and spice mixture for two weeks and serve with cold cuts and 
salad.
