Mayonnaise - several possible sources, Mahon and Mayonne being two
possibilities
Sandwich - Earl of Sandwich
Beef Wellington
Napoleons (pastries)
Numerous Ben and Jerry Flavors such as Cherry Garcia

Beef Wellington
Bananas Foster(named for Richard Foster, a friend of Owen Brennan's
[owner of the restaurant where the dish was created] who was then New
Orleans Crime Commission chairman)
eggs Benedict (possibly-actually I'm not *sure* these are named for
someone[I've seen several explanations for the name], but it seems most
likely)
Caesar Salad (named for Caesar Cardini, the inventor)
Waldorf Salad (named for the hotel where it originated, which was named
after one of the owners, so sort of meta-named for someone...)
Steak/potatoes Delmonico (another meta -name, named for Delmonico's
restaurant)
and speaking of New York; the orange Julius
