[Sca-cooks] Will the real Amaretti please stand up. OoP

Well I finally made the Amaretti from the Allrecipe site. It has the
consistency of a dry macaroon. Then low and behold in the Italian Desserts
cook book that I got for a pre-Xmas gift had under cookies "Amaretti" but
this recipe looks more like a meringue with almond meal in it.
If I get around to it I will try the Italian desserts recipe.

Currently I am trying a pecan and brown sugar substitute w/ the allrecipe
recipe (also rum extract instead of almond extract. Under estimated moister
content and needs more pecan meal.
