[Sca-cooks] Charlemange's tablecloth and period use of asbestos

Greetings!  Just a reminder that, according to Nicolaa Fletcher who 
wrote a recent book entitled "Charlemagne's Tablecloth", there never was 
a real tablecloth made of asbestos.  She consulted with several 
historians who said they could find no contemporary evidence of that 
story.  It appears that the story was fabricated in later years.
