[Sca-cooks] Syllabub

A quick look at Karen Hess's version of Martha Washington's Booke of Cookery 
shows three entries for syllabub.  She states that the OED puts the word at 
its earliest to 1537.  She does say that the line between posset and 
syllabub is a bit indistinct.
