Well done on the first loaf!  Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I think you should use more bread flour and less buckwheat next 
time. 

If you have an old-fashioned beer brewer in your area, who uses whole 
grain, beg from him some of his "spent grain" and put in a cup or two 
into a basic white bread batch.  Really nice and malty and whole grain 
goodness too.
