I was looking through my books for a soup to try. I found Italian bean soup
w/pasta.
It serves 6 and is described as chunky and flavorful.
You have 4 cups chicken or vegetable stock, cannellini beans, pasta, olive
oil, onions, celery, carrot and tomato (which is optional). It is in the
seasonings list that has me wondering.
3-4 garlic cloves
2 bay leaves
2 tsp. crushed dried rosemary leaves
2 tsp. dried sage
4 cups dried chili flakes
3 tbs. shopped fresh parsley
salt and pepper to taste

I like hot soup but..... :}
