In these times people find themselves doing what they must to get by,
and I find myself in the position of needing to exchange books for
funds. I hope you can forgive my commercial intrusion upon this list,
but I felt that I would have the best chance of finding those who
might truly desire my offerings in this forum. I have received
permission from the Evil List Admin.

I am fairly confident that most of my collection would be redundant
for most of those on this list, but I have selected a few, slightly
obscure texts that might be worthy additions to someone's library. If
you have interest in any of my list, please contact me privately for
negotiations.

Columella II De Re Rustica V - IX.
-Loeb Classical Library. Hardback, good condition. Includes Vines,
Olive Trees, Pomiferous trees, Grafting, Oxen, Bulls Cows, Ass, Sheep,
Goats, Cheese Making, Birds and Fishes, Farmyard Poultry, Amphibious
Birds, Fishes, Wild Animals, Bees, Honey and Wax --- among other
things. Asking $15

Cato De Agricultura
- translation by Andrew Dalby. Paperback, a little beat up. Has
recipes for bread and cakes. Asking $10

Hildegard von Bingen's Physica
- Hardback, good condition. A catalogue of plants and animals from
12th century Germany. $15.00

Libellus de arte Coquinaria - an early northern cookery book
-Hardback, Grewe & Hieatt. Good condition. Cookbook. $20.00

Ein New Kochbuch, Marx Rumpolt.
- Oversize Hardback, like new condition. Facsimilie edition. This book
weighs at least 5 lbs. It contains the entirety of Ein New Kochbuch in
Medieval German with woodcuts. Including menus, recipes and sections
on Turkey, Wine, Beer, Vinegar ... As far as I know this book is
unavailable in the US. Please contact me to discuss pricing.

For the completest, I also have a copy of the Flowers & Rosenbaum
Apicius that has a dust jacket that has seen better days. And I have a
copy of the Eileen Powers translation of Goodman of Paris - the 1928
edition - it is not in very good condition and has no dust jacket.
Both of these texts have had more recently published (better)
translations and I have not really been able to determine what their
worth (if any) might be. Please contact me if interested.
