Stefan,
What is your definition of strong?
There are several ways to test the acidity of vinegar.
It is fairly easy to test white wine vinegar with a paper testing kit.
It is a bit harder to do so with red wine vinegar since the vinegar stains the paper.
Testing the acid of the home made cider vinegar would be an interesting project.
