What's odd about tinned quail eggs? They're one of the things I always 
have in the pantry in case I'm caught short on something to take to an 
SCA potluck.

If that's the platypus-in-a-tin I think it is, it's sold in souvenir 
shops and when you open it you get a stuffed toy.
