[Sca-cooks] To cat or not to cat

Butchering and eating animals usually considered to be pets is illegal
in some parts of the US (e.g. New York), and in some places just
possessing the meat (presumably with intent) is a violation of the law
(e.g. California).

While I haven't found any regulations for the state of Colorado yet,
it's worth noting that the USDA does not oversee or inspect butchers or
processors for meats outside of the usual variety, so there would be no
way to know if purchased cat meat would actually be safe to eat.

That being said, I believe mountain lion meat is legal to eat in
Colorado.
