My roommate, who is from Argentina, loves the stuff. I can't stand it
neat, myself, and a generous amount of it mixed into cola (a classic
Argentinian way to take it) is not my thing, but it's great in mixed
drinks if you treat it like bitters. Given that Angostura bitters are
sometimes used to season food, I'm sure fernet could be used for the
same sorts of applications.
