SNIP SNAP

TOTALLY SPAM-A-LICIOUS.

I am shocked that anyone would take these bogus messages seriously. This
particular message, with "victims" and locations changed (remember those
saying they were in London?), has been going around for a few years. But on
another SCA list, people began asking where to send the money. Sigh.

Well something very similar did happen to my brother once in Spain, except
with the twist that he was silly enough to go skinny dipping in the middle
of the night, and when he and his friend came back to the beach all their
clothes (and wallets etc) were gone. Although his first reaction, funnily
enough, was not to email everyone on his contact list about it...
