My favorite "ketchup" is Westbrae Naturals Un-Ketchup. By US law to be called "Ketchup" (or "Catsup") it MUST have a certain amount of sweetening. Un-Ketchup has none - no corn syrup, no sugar, no fruit juice, so for those, like me, who are not fond of putting tomato syrup on your food, i recommend it. It actually tastes like it is made of tomatoes.

The label says 1 Tb. has 1 gr. of carbs and it has a small amount of maltodextrin. I'm not diabetic and have none in my family, so i don't know how safe this is for them/you.

It is generally sold in health food stores. It was originally a West Coast brand -- Westbrae is a Berkeley neighborhood -- but it is now owned by Hain which is nationally distributed.

Someone sometimes called Urtatim
