[Sca-cooks] Barberries

I but them dried now, to make   - zereshk polow... the dried berries are expensive, and we grow currants so I thought i might as well grow the berries.  But not wanting to propogate plant diseases, I will keep buying them.

As mentioned earlier, barberry bushes are restricted in the US. However, as
the berries are used in cooking, it is possible to buy them in some ethnic
grocery stores and online. You might try searching for "zereshk" in Persian
markets.
