Greetings!  Ivan Day has new blogs at 
http://foodhistorjottings.blogspot.com/ .
The first is on millefruit biscuits (1760s); the second on "apricocks" - 
a tart, jumballs, and a cream custard.  The jumballs are similar to ones 
we made of pippin paste in one of his courses.  The third is on 
preserving green oranges and lemons which some of you on the West Coast 
might be able to try.  Either we go a month or more between blogs from 
Ivan or a whole bunch come at once!
