[Sca-cooks] Local Feast Disappointment

This isn't limited to the medieval world.
 
When the Getty had an important 18th century exhibit, the restaurant touted 
 what was supposed to be a period menu but was gleefully anachronistic. 
This was  all the more egregious since, as I recall, an expert on the period's 
food had  been consulted for the exhibit and could surely have helped the 
kitchen as  well.
