I may give that a try. I'm probably having Thanksgiving alone -- my mother died last year (she was 91 and had Alzheimer's and cancer, so it was OK) and i'm banned from my brother's house for saying the Israel-Palestine issue is complicated -- and i'm planning to make myself some "real American" dishes, such as succotash and Indian pudding - and Huette's pecan pie. Haven't decided if i'm getting a small turkey breast or a small vegetarian non-turkey.
