My latest translation from the work of Le Grand d'Aussy should be of  
particular interest to people here. His last chapters are where he moves from  
specific foods to an overview of feasts and everything that went with them:  
table customs, table decorations, ornate entertainments, etc. All of which he 
 reviews in great detail, drawing on various period sources.
