[Sca-cooks] Persian

Hi
looking for resources for Period Persian.  Most specifically, I have been told there are standard(ish) spice blends... like the  Persian versions of poudre douce and poudre forte;
one primarily for sweet, one for savory.
Does anyone have a reliable source for a list of ingredients - and if they have a list with amounts, even better.  
Am also looking for some recipes to use said blends in.  cookies? something else not too perishable?
Any other useful suggestions for a late period (I think 1500s) Persian persona would be welcome!
