Has anyone looked at his other books for Traditional Food in Northumbria and Shropshire to see how much they cover the pre-1600 era?

I have the earlier volume. I am under the impression it was best on 17th-18th centuries, but if he has doubled the size, who knows?

Many "traditional" cookbooks are mostly much later, and may only have a few paragraphs for our period, if that. :-(. It won't go back to my persona's time period (1150 CE) but at least it covers my persona's area.  Thanks,
