Basically, it was prohibited to convey organic food, i.e meat or fish, to the mouth using metal instruments. This says nothing about aqueducts or wine content. It only has to do with prohibiting eating meat or fish with a metal fork.

As a matter of fact there is no mention of metal poisoning from the fork - it was simply prohibited cause the Bible says so.

Our quest,t therefore, is to find out where in the Bible can this be inferred?

Spoons, commonly used, were made of boxwood, making it all right to eat pottages with organic ingredients as wood was permitted.

Metal fruit forks were permitted as fruit is not organic.
