[Sca-cooks] Known World Cooks and Bards 2016

Hi Everyone,

I'm a novice-ish cook (I entered my first A&S Faire cooking entry in
January, and cooked my first feast as Feast Steward this past weekend!),
from the Shire of Glaedenfeld in the Kingdom of Meridies.

The Shire had been looking to put together a proposal to host the Known
World Cooking and Bardic Symposium 2016, with myself and Mistress Fiana of
Clare (a Bardic Laurel) as co-Event Stewards.  Unfortunately, the Shire
recently suffered a severe financial loss (our trailer with all our
equipment in it was stolen, last Thursday, the day before an Event!), and
after much consideration, we can no longer financially justify hosting this
event, and we will be withdrawing our proposal.

We are considering a bid for 2018, and in the interests of transparency,
preventing rumours, and potential conflicting bids, want to bring this to
the attention of Cooks and Bards in the SCA.
