[Sca-cooks] Outlands Crown Tournament Feast - What I'm planning...

Nothing says that it can't be good, plentiful, and documentable.

While I'll be in the Outlands in August, the Crown Tourney is August 15 and
I'll be in San Dimas, CA on that date delivering my wife to her birthday
present (a session with the Tudor Tailors). If we weren't going to
California, we would probably drive up to Boulder for the event and a visit
with some of Margaret's siblings.

I'm scheduled to cook the Feast of St. Golias this Fall in Socorro. Late
Period German, with a couple recipes lifted from wider range sources. I'm
waiting for the College PTB to schedule the date, so I can plan the trip.

It's a small feast. Last year I had 55 paying diners. I'm planning for a
maximum of 60 (although I can bump that up if we get reservations) and a
break even at 30. The feast is small enough I can provide good and
plentiful while playing with presentation and service. I'll test out a few
recipes while I'm in Socorro. Maybe get a little anticipation going.

Good luck with the Crown Tourney feast. Wish I could make it.

I am cooking the feast for Outlands Crown Tournament in August.
Reservations are limited to 100 plus head table. Whoever has reserved by
August 1 is in. No seats will be available at gate.
I was told to make a Pelican Feast and not a Laurel Feast. My
understanding as to what that meant was I was to make it good and plentiful
but it did not have to be a documentable feast.

Respectfully submitted.
