You just nailed your problem. The free download is NOT an ebook. Don't
click on that. You need to find the "download PDF" which is not an
intuitive find. Try to follow my hints that I'd outlined in my earlier
post. I'll number the steps.
1. When I just now loaded the page, there is a blue "sign in" in the
upper right.
2.Under it, next to a tab ("front cover") is the right-handmost tab with
something that looks like a gear.
3.If you click on the gear, one of the options is "download PDF". That's
what you should choose.
4.The only "hoop" to jump through is deciphering the wonky letters that
prove you are a human.
DON'T ask for the ebook. It costs. Find that "gear", click on it (right
click? left click?) and the last option should be "download PDF". Click
on that, decipher the funny letters, open the download and save it to
your computer.
