Greetings! Historic Royal Palaces sent an email about a June 2 talk at
the NYC English-Speaking Union. They wrote, "Carl Raymond, food writer,
editor and historian will explore the world of cooking, food and dining
At the Queen’s Table: Food and Dining in the 16th Century from Anne
Boleyn to Elizabeth I.
"In this illustrated talk Carl Raymond will chart the course of food as
it was cooked, prepared and appeared on royal and noble tables
throughout the 16th century. Attendees will leave with a sampling of
recipes true to the Tudor period and several will be adapted for the
modern kitchen should they wish to try a royal banquet at home."
The URL for the event is

I don't know how accurate the speaker might be but if you live in the
area, it might be of interest.
