sigh. was going to suggest Mr Day do some research about the probability of being allowed to bring his cake to Detroit, as he mentioned in the (WONDERFUL) article, but since we have resisted almost all forms of “social media”, we don’t have any of the accounts it takes to post a comment…  I remember when you used to be able to post authentically “anonymous” comments!

my immediate reaction had been, oh great, some TSA Phillistine having a bad day (and aren’t they all) might throw it in a waste-basket right in front of him! I don’t fly, either, so have no idea how picky the various authorities are about non-commercially-produced food-stuffs getting into the country…
