I've just finished translating all 23 of the vinegar recipes in the farm
manual I'm slogging through, the sixth-century CE Qimin Yaoshu
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qimin_Yaoshu>. I've summarized the recipes
on my blog, and I thought this list might find them interesting.

I haven't gotten a chance to try any yet, although I did attempt to make
the second-to-last mead vinegar. Sadly, it grew some creative colors of
mold and still tasted sweet after a month of sitting, so I dumped it - I'll
try again soon with a tiny amount of mother of vinegar added.

I intend to publish a handful of these recipes online as I try them out,
but if you want to try them yourself, I'd be happy to send a copy of
recipes of interest to you, in exchange for notes on how it went.

YIS,
Þórfinnr Hróðgeirsson
