Hi, Julia! I really ought to do this one while my farmer's markets locally have really good cukes, but yes, you can cook cucumbers. They tend to break down much easier than the other cucurbits, even easier than zucchini. So if you want them to retain their "identity", cook them lightly. Gwyn/Glenn
