A friend of mine said her family would gather all the new cast iron (and any needing reseasoning) and put them in the annual fall bonfire. Of course that wouldn’t work too well for those with the wooden handles, but... (I have been thinking about the annual HS homecoming bonfire.) Thanks, Anne
