[Sca-cooks] Kidney Beans

Chinese long bean, yardlong bean, long cowpea, bodi, bora, snake bean, long-podded cowpea, and lord know what else.  

I still have fond memories of visiting the Berkeley Bowl.  Wish I had one handy.

I believe this is what is also known as long bean. They are not uncommon in Southeast Asia. They figure into Indonesian cuisine. I can get them in the Berkeley Bowl market and most Asian markets where i live.
