SC - parchment

Actually I went to tandy and got goat parchment, totally not prepped. I
had to sand it 90 degrees to the angle of the calligraphy. Which is not an
easy thing to figure out for me as i was using an amalgam of hands from
Marmion's Book of Hours. To my eye there is no specific direction to the
hand except 45 degress from right to left on the page. I have put it up on
the web, www.io.com/~ches/illumgif/kscroll.gif. You can see the flaws in
the skin but the recipient wanted it to look no other way. He loves it.
Unfortunatly this the best I can do for now image wise as my scanner card
has been pulled so that my husband can play with his new cable modem.
Sigh.
Thyra has a really good source that she sent to me but that email is at
home and I am at work. I will send it to you this evening or if Thyra has
it handy between now and then she can post it. :)
Sincerely,
Ches
