[Scriptoris] Scribes Guilds activities

Ok, this list has been way too quiet of late, so I'm going to pull a 'Lorraine' and ask some
questions. 

The Canton of Westgate has asked me to begin a scribes guild and one of our first activities is to
take a field trip (this weekend).  While I've been a member of scribes guilds for years (SCA and
modern), I thought I'd see what others have done in their guilds to keep them active and
interesting.   

Question:
What activities can you suggest for scribes guilds?
