That's because it is. I suspect the text was block-copied and not edited for
specific content-differences such as this.

> Here's a description of the award:
> Order of the Golden Lance: given, in consultation with members of the order,
> for exceptional skill, leadership, and honor on the equestrian field, for
> service to the kingdom and its people, knowledge of the courtly graces, and
> consistent respect for the laws and customs of the kingdom. Companions of
> the order are entitled to place the initials CGL after their names, to be
> addressed with the title "Lancer", and to wear a ribbon sable edged Or
> charged with a lance Or on either the calf or above the elbow. They may
> display on their tournament lances a pennon bearing the badge of the order:
> (fieldless) on a mullet of five greater and five lesser points sable, a
> lance Or.

Two warnings:

The name of the order is not yet registered, according to the most recent
information available on the Ansteorran Heralds' webpage. It is in process
between kingdom and Laurel King of Arms. I would expect it to be registered,
as they registered the "Golden Bridle" (non-armigerous equestrian award), but
one ought not assume anything. (The so-called "Arcus Majoris" has been
returned by Laurel after acceptance at kingdom. All of those charters will
need to have the name fixed after whatever gets registered, gets registered.

The badge of the order, as here described, has not been submitted at all. It
is possible that the registered badge will bear little to no resemblance to
what is currently in the constitution for the award.

The existence of a constitution for an award does not constitute (forgive the
pun) verification of registered name or badge for an award/order, nor does the
existence of a charter for an award, nor the presence of a name or proposed
badge on the artwork.

For now, if there's a lance on the "Golden Lance" charter, paint it gold, until
and unless informed otherwise.
