How about Heraldic Etiquette?

I do not know about you guys but I have seen this over and over and over and 
no one seems to want to correct it so it just keeps going on. The misuse of 
titles. The one time I say something I get blown off. Heraldic Etiquette, is 
that even the proper use of the term for what I speak of?

Ex: Lord John Doe, the Prince of Tides, just a signature at the end of an 
sca email, not a true title.

If I am wrong in my request then I will let it go.
