Some of these suppliers carry the paper that I reviewed... 

John the Artificer carries calfskin vellum on an irregular basis - best to call and see when he will get some in. Right now, he's gearing up for Pennsic, so he may or may not have any available for internet sales. 

The synthetic “elephant hide” vellum that  we discussed is sold in the US under Wyndstone Marble and can be found at:

You can order swatches from most of these places to see which weight would work best for you. 

Dick Blick and Texas Art Supply, as well as your local Michael's and Hobby Lobby, carry Fabriano and Arches papers, although the Hot Press is a little more difficult to find at the local shops. 

Other good, usable synthetic parchments, such as pergamenata (which I personally recommend), parchmentine and opaline (spam) vellum can be found at:

Thank you very much. It was a wonderful class. I very carefully made it home with my vials of paint without spilling a drop and plan to use them on a project this weekend. Thank you for the info on suppliers. Do these suppliers also carry vellum and the vellum substitutes (I have forgotten the names) you were talking about?

Thanks to all the folks who attended my class on Creating Paint from Pigment at King's College. It was hot, the glair was smelly, and we had a few cases of unintentional cochineal paint due to insects flying/crawling/otherwise making their way into the paint during the mulling process, but I hope that you all enjoyed the experience and learned as much as I did! Special thanks to Lady Kaithleen Hamilton from Bordermarch, who served as my "Lovely Assistant®"  and helped me to haul boxes of supplies, setup the class, and clean up afterwards - words simply can't do justice to how much you were appreciated!
