Some recent chatter on the Yahoo scribes list about sources for vellum/parchment.
Regarding resources, you may want to check out this company:

Also, at Pennsic:
* Guild Mirandola imports some very fine quality vellum from Israel, last time I bought from them, at Pennsic only, couldn't find a website where they sell from.
* John the Artificer: http://www.icubed.com/users/jrose/jartindx.html   (has a gypsie wagon in the main merchant square)

Other Merchants:
* John Neal Booksellers: http://www.johnnealbooks.com/
* Paper and Ink Arts: http://www.paperinkarts.com/shop.html
* Talas: http://talasonline.com/

Good shopping, Hillary

For those looking to order vellum. I recently had to order 2 rather large pieces. I was pleased with the turn-around time and the excellent quality from Pergamena. They are a company from NY and were featured on the Discovery Channel's "Dirty Jobs" earlier this year. Their website is http://www.pergamena.net Their prices seeme very reasonable compared to other online vendors. I would highly recommend them as an option for those future purchases.

Guild Mirandola does have some vellum for sell. I would check with Dosalena early as it tends to go fast.

The Gabriel Guild has not been at Pennsic for the last 3 or 4 years. It is my understanding that they will not be back due to illness.
